So there is not something that could be uploaded to the webspace that blocks obvious spam ? He gets hundreds of spamails (is that a word?) each week and wouldn't have the time to email the hosts every time a new spammers get his addy.

I see, the website isn't mine, it's a friends and he had it built for him so I told him I may be able to help finding a way to block the hundreds of spam emails he gets each week. Got any suggestions that may help him out ?

Post Posted: January 6th, 2004, 11:49 am

Yes it is browser based mail does this mean there's no way to stop the spam ?

I've had a quick look through all the options and there seems to be nowhere to change any settings that filter ip's or email addresses.

Post Posted: January 6th, 2004, 11:26 am

Does anybody know if it is possible to block spam to a websites email address, the hosts are network solutions.

Cheers

Having contributed articles to a similar site ( I don't know if I'm allowed to mention it ) I do have some comments about your site. I found the layout text a bit heavy on the eye, some white space in between paragraphs would break it up and make it a lot easier to read, the site that I mentioned I ...

I must admit I only came in looking for an answer to a scripting problem but when I saw the depth of the forum and the fact that you didn't get flamed for asking basic questions I liked it so much I bought the company (and when I say bought the company what I actually mean is I bookmarked the site).

Have any of you ever seen on of those homemade fresnel screen projector things in action, according to the website I saw (I forget the URL) you just stick a couple of cardboard boxes together, paint them black, fit the fresnel screen to to it and attatch it to your monitor/portable tv set then flip ...

Yesterday I met a little old man who was pulling what looked like a giant printer on a rickety cart, he stopped me and asked if I'd give him a hand lifting it onto a rubbish skip, I asked him what it was and if it worked and he said it was a printer and yes it did still work. Now because it looked o...

After messing around for a few days trying to get my forms to work with little success and the fact that the hosting package I've purchased isn't too hot I think I am going to go back to the drawing board with my site. What I wanted to do was build a site I could link straight to my Ebay pages and s...

I'll be t...
