Adding a section for the unapproved/illegal threads.

I think that this site could be more convenient if you had one section that consist of all of the dead threads. Adding all of the topics that are dead/illegal Kazaa, Hacking, Pirating software or any unapproved activity etc by OZZU. This would clean up the board visually and physically. It get ugly when you see topics that are either locked or have been stopped. What do all of you think about this?

threads that are against the rules are deleted or have their links removed and are locked to show others that that kind of crap on Ozzu will not be tolerated. As its been said before, Ozzu is a place for professionals not script kiddies and those who want to cheat others out of their rightful income.

Yeah but it would clean up the board. When you enter a section all of the locked topics make the section look bad I think just a thought. Say we move them to a section called for example "This is what is not going to be tolerated here at OZZU" This would show the new bies that you cant post stuff about Kazaa, Hacking etc. Possibly making to so there is less maintenance to be done.

SO you're suggesting a type of "graveyard"?...hmmm...interesting thought. However, the bulk of what is moderated here, very few even see. The ones that truly don't belong are deleted before most even see them. The rest that are left are left for a purpose. As Musik said, in some cases as an example, but also in some cases because the topic just became unproductive. In any case, the part about less maintenance doesn't apply. All the posts are moderated by humans, not machines and there is nothing automatic in this board that would move a locked topic to a designated spot. I suppose it could be modified to do that, but seriously doubt it will be.

Interesting thought though.

plus, I think having them all in a single location would just make a point of singling them out and draw the wrong kinds of people (Those who are only going to post more graveyard-fodder).

They'd still post in the other areas... Just having all that together in a single location is going to boost Ozzu in the search engines for the keywords & phrases we don't wanna be found for

A problem with dead area's is that the message is still very much there people coming opn here to look for a specific illeagal information wil still be able to access it via that area, where as by deleting them it removes them altogether but I do like the idea about moving topics there once they have passed there sell by data or have been judged as too strange or out of place on a board like this.

If we deleted EVERY spam and incident that happened here, we'd have more to deal with than we already do. If people come here to spam, then see that those who have spammed in the past simply get made fun of by the other users, have their posts edited & locked and left for public ridicule, they think twice about posting the spam themselves.
