I tried to send a PM to ATNO a bit ago, pulled up the form, did the find and selected him from the list, but on submit, it blanks the recepient field & gives me an error. Same when I try to using joebert. I'm using FF3 on Win XP, not that I think it has to do with the issue, but never know.

The username I selected via find

Just prior to submitting

Error received after submit
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

you have to click the "Add" button once you have located or typed in a user before you submit your PM. I've forgotten to do that more times than I can count. If you don't click Add you'll get that error.

Doh. :( Joke's on me I guess. Well on that note, how about the find form auto-adds the contact, BWM? I'm sure I'm not the first nor the last to stumble on that prior to a caffeine dose in the AM.

I agree with you on these points. Unfortunately that is how phpbb3 works by default. I will keep this in mind for a future project to try and improve their system. That is going to require some changes to the phpbb3 code.

Brian, you should just email phpBB and ask them to give you some money for improving their coding.
