Just an FYI, for the last week or so, FF is randomly not centering the Google ads at the top. It seems to be primarily text ads, but it is sporadic.

FYI it's still doing this, but on a completely different computer than the one I took the screen shot on.

Hmm I am not sure how to fix this one, I cannot even duplicate it. I checked in both FF3 and Chrome and its fine for me. Does it happen occasionally for all of you? or all the time for some?

Occasionally. It happens the most for me on "confirmation" pages, such as right after making a post, moving a topic, etc.

Very random, but frequent. And can happen on any ozzu page. I can't intentionally duplicate it either. It just happens when it does. Next time it does I'll look at source code and post it.

When you see it happen again, can you please also refresh the page to see if it stays bad or if its fixed. If the refresh fixes it then I think it has something to do with a bug in these browsers. I am open to suggestions though if anybody has an idea what is causing it.

Will do. A little tough right now as the Phizzpop ad has been displaying all day *lol

OK - it just did it with the Phizzpop ad on the index page. Refreshing (F5 only - not a hard refresh) re-centered it. The code was identical in both cases

Code: [ Select ]
<div id="ad76890topContainer">
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-0926960744185353";
google_ad_slot = "3397495038";
google_ad_width = 728;
google_ad_height = 90;
//-->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>
</div>
  1. <div id="ad76890topContainer">
  2. <script type="text/javascript"><!--
  3. google_ad_client = "pub-0926960744185353";
  4. google_ad_slot = "3397495038";
  5. google_ad_width = 728;
  6. google_ad_height = 90;
  7. //-->
  8. </script>
  9. <script type="text/javascript"
  10. src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
  11. </script>
  12. </div>

Must just be a browser glitch

lol... thatn's not actually cheating. What I meant was that I'm not having those ads, and I'm not any golden or special member. It's just that I have the Sponsored Links box, but it's empty and small... and my Firefox doesn't load the ads so the page loads faster ;)

Sorry BigWebMaster :lol:
