I have trouble reading the forums and it is hard on my eyes. I wish it was a little lighter.
Thanks,
David

It looks fine on a well-calibrated monitor.

I would suggest calibrating yours :)

I find the colours on this site perfectly fine. Maybe you need to turn your brightness up on your monitor, or purchase a new one.

On Netscape 4.8 your website has black background with black writing. Impossible to read. On IE 6.0 black background with white letters. What is going on with Netscape.? Haven't tried Mozilla Firefox yet.

Why would you even USE NS4.8? That is so incredlibly old, anyone using it just needs to be taken out back.

Mozilla 1.4+ works fine, Firefox works fine.

I just "upgraded" from NS 4.79 last week! You see I'm still living in the past. I drive 1956 & 1957 Pontiacs. I'm using Win98SE. And I think the best music is from the 50's! I grew up in Chicago in the 1930's when Al
Capone was rattling everybody's cage. (Knew Dillinger real well!!)
Anyway I'm getting sick of Nestscape & hate IE with a passion so I took Kim Komando's advice & installed Firefox. (& also have Mozilla 1.7 ready to download.) :D

I can stare at this website for a longer period of time than looking on a white background website.

How long can you look at black letters on a black background?

Nem, not everybody's looking at black text, most of us have upgraded our browsers within the past decade :)

I think the black background works well. Especially with the dark characters lurking on this forum. Probably makes them feel at home.
