dead thread forum?

I'm not sure if you have a forum where threads are moved after they have been locked.. It doesn't look like you have one though. The reason for having such a forum is basically just so you can keep a reference of threads that have been locked, and so that you don't have a load of useless and, or lame threads in the main forums. Another advantage is that post counts don't take a hit, when the thread is removed. Nearly every forum that I have moderated/administered has a system like this, sometimes it's invisible, except to mods/admins etc...

Just a thought..

We've talked about this many times before but were against it. Most of the time, threads like you posted are simply removed, and not really hanging around. It's better in the long run to leave topics, whatever they are, good and bad, in the category they were started. That way when someone searches, it's easily found. Thanks for the thought.
