Is there any reason why sometimes pm's sit in my outbox for ages, even though the user I am sending to is online and active etc. I don't really know how the PM algorithm works, so what decides when it leaves my outbox and goes to the sent box....

Just wondering.

It sits in the Outbox until they read it. If it's still there, they haven't read it. If it's been read it gets moved to the sent box.

ahhh there you go. I understand now. I just got the impression that it was still waiting to be sent or something. I see it gives you the opportunity to edit the message up until the time they read it. Quite handy that way now - I know when people have read my message.

Thank you atno.

*smiles -- don't worry - I had to have Bigwebmaster explain that one to me when I first got here, myself. See how OZZU works? We all learn from each other.
