How come the sig links have the ? referral mark - doesn't help anyone out with that, ya know...can't they be just straight links?

That' s how they know who referred the person. I don't see any problem with it.

It's not a referal thing. It's simply a link tracking script Bigwebmaster uses to track what links are clicked. It has no affect on referers.

Wait a minute, maybe I am wrong and please clarify if I am...

Not that I plan on taking over the world with my sig links...

If it links to http://www.mysite.com - the bot run rampent, see the link, see the anchor text, blah blah blah...

But if the link is http://www.YOURSITE.com?http://www.mysite.com - isn't that a big difference? Ya know what I mean, or am I crazy?

No the search spider wont find your site from a sig link on Ozzu - especially as the exit.cgi is blocked in the robots.txt

the reason ozzu has an exit.cgi script is simply to keep track
of which links are being clicked most often. It's not a stategy
against anyone, but if your purpose is to be here to leach PR,
then obviously you're not here for the right reasons.

After reading some odds and ends in the general board his purpose was here to leech PR.
