For those that have wanted a lighter theme.

Hey gang, for those of you that have been requesting a lighter theme I got to see a teaser tonight of what Bigweb has been working on. I'm a diehard on this old theme of ours because I've been looking at it for three years, but I think you're gonna like it. As soon as he switches I'm gonna switch and I never thought I would. Don't expect it tomorrow or the next day. I know Bigweb is going to make sure it's spot on before it's available but I can tell you what he's working on is pretty darn slick! I mean seriously slick!

For those who wonder why it is taking so long, Bigweb is virtually doing away with the table structure in the stock phpbb theme and customizing it with valid HTML and CSS. And I'm telling you what I have seen so far, I am outrageously impresssed.

Like I said, don't expect it tomorrow, but wow, gotta say I like what I'm seeing!

Believe me, he handed me a cookie tonight too and snatched it away, but in all seriousness, I only posted this to let you know that it's not a pipe dream. He is seriously working on a lighter theme for us. p.s. there's some "eye candy" / chocolates in there as well

Not from me, no way no how. I have no interest in getting my butt whooped! If Bigweb wants to give ya some screenies so be it, but not me, no way lol!

Yea Id like to see some screenshots aswel. Im a huge fan of the theme we have got at the moment but Id like a change every now and again.

Bring on the screenshots! Or at least what server its on so we can guess what directory its in

well i would really like to get a peek and some kinda eta of when, i know not to expect it tomorrow as ATNO/TW said but some idea on when would be great.

I suspect there will be no screenies. I think Bigweb just showed me cause he knew I'd "leak" a little info lol. Just be patient gang. Nothing had been said about it for awhile, so mostly I just wanted to let you know it isn't a forgotten thing and is seriously being worked on. It still may take some time. Bigweb is making significant changes to the templates that I think very few if any have ever done and I don't think he'll release even a screenshot until it's perfect and ready to use.

i seen the topic had a new post and then seen it was bigs and was like did he give us a screen shot then i looks and see you did and i was like wahoo so i am all excited to see it then bam you rip my heart out...
