How about a category where people offer sites that they are looking to exchange links with? I saw this in another forum and it could be useful. I think it might bring more members possibly also.

I think this has been brought up before...Not sure but I know it'd bring a lot of spamish content.

it has been brought up many many times, and it's not going to fly with bigweb. The point it will serve, although wholesome in theory, will end up being a spamhaven and take more effort to moderate than be helpful. I don't think this is going to happen any time soon, if at all TBH.

I like the idea and if you had a dedicated team of Mod for the links section it might work? possibly limit it to users with 50/100 posts min. and who have a good, forum related reason to put the links there? But i respect the spamish side of things becasue we all know there ar epeople out there purely there to gain customers etc.. (see my sig lol :P) jokin

Someone had that relationship between java and communism, I'll use it here:

A Link Exchange Forum is like communism, it looks great on paper but it will never work.

It has worked in other forums, but yes, it is possible to get a lot of spam.

As has been noted many times before, the answer is still no and always will be no.
