Perhaps we can have a marketplace forum for exchanging links and buying links? I've seen other forums that have these boards and they are very successful marketplace boards. Maybe also a "Site Sales" board?

Oh well, just a suggestion :)

why is there no link exchange section? it would gather so many more members. That's why I am a member at these types of forums, it's great for networking for my websites.

The reason behind it not happening is because Ozzu has over 20,000 members. This forum dosnt really need any more non active members.

Suggestion... maybe a participating members only requirement (20+posts or something) like the site review thread to be able to post in link exchange thread?

All this will do is encourage people to post 20 posts of "ok" or "lol" just to get to the required post amount and then go away when they have successfully spammed the site.

Makes sense. Oh well - this forum is a probably a little too useful & informative for a link exchange thread anyway. There's already tons out there.

Well I have noticed that Webmaster-Talk and Digital Point have them and there are alot of cut threads. I get some good link swaps from those sites but there are alot of people just trying to scam free links. My site is listed as a free directory on many sites not many really wants to swap links anymore when they can just scam them. The whole link swapping effort gets really old after a while.

here are some sites dedicated to links swap
Links pal
linkmarket
linkalizer

I have used these sites to get alot of links quickly. Linkmarket is getting pretty spammed out these days though.

Yeah, I'd also second the idea that Ozzu needs a link swap forum as long as there are some anti spam/scam measures in place.

I really could care less but I might spend a bit more time here.
