links database

i dont mean trading links but just haveing a database of links that we can look at like links to software to diffrent scripts and have it so only mods can add to the link database...... or have a few people that will add the links to the database..

resion not to have all users able to add to the links dir, that would caws a lot of spam..

that is what i mean but that would be one part like all that could fit in to a sub-cat or scripts..
the main idea is to have the links organized and simple to find...
only helpfull links that we use should be added, with a full description of what the link is and what it is used for that way when searching the data base it can be found..

So more like Code Snippets than scripts. Kinda like these guys have?

scripts - code snippets - then code..
web srevices the service - then the site and what it dose
programs - list diffrent programs - programs and what they do

or even each forum have a topic that only mods can reply to where each helpful code or link with a description of what it is and key words(so it is eazy to find)

windows forum could have a topic that had all the usful links given out about good programs that do whatever...

not just code big.. links to programs and web services and links that come up more then once..

We most likely won't be implementing that, especially becuase I feel bigwebmaster.com is fairly close to something like tha already. Running bigwebmaster.com is enough work as it is. I am around 1000 submission behind there.

The code snippets database however, will most likely be implemented here in the future.

I think just having a Locked Sticky in each forum for software would be nice. Having it sorted from shareware to paid products.
