I dont know if this has been suggested previously but I think ozzu should have a marketing forum were webmasters can talk about all aspects of it. I didnt see any other forums were marketing would apply and I would like to make a few posts about it. Let me know what you think...

That sounds like a descent suggestion. The majority of marketing seemst to fit in with search engines probably though. Lets see what some other members think. Feedback please.

I can understand how the topic of search engines & marketing could very well merge fairly regularly...

But it could be a GOOD way for people to learn/figure out methods of advertising their sites that don't involve spam (something that a few may resort to given no other avenues to pursue).

It could also help those looking to gain advertisers/sponsors for their sites, how to word mailing lists for commercial online stores looking to maximize return on their investments (both in time and money), how to run promotions without going over the top and that kind of thing.

Could be a very handy forum. I'm all for it :)

Yes merging search engines and marketing could be a good idea, because I love reading about peoples marketing campains and how they do.

Sounds good! I have no real use for marketing right now but it'd still be an interesting way to get help brainstorming.

When you decide what domain name you're gonna get, go with GoDaddy.com

I've been using them now for about 5 years, and have about 15 domains with them now, never had a single problem (or heard of a problem from the many others I've sent there).

Has he really? I'd bet BWM or UNFLUX could get him set up at relative expense *grins
