Max post limit?

I was basicly giving this guy some code to work on his webpage and when I submited my last revision, it didnt display. I can go into the edit view and its there. Is there a max character limit for displaying?

Seems to have somthing to do with PHP bbcode, I just changed it to CODE & it displays now.
Strong with this one, the sudo is.
