Moved Topics

Just an idea.. A lot of topics that are moved the ghost is left behind so that they person who posted it knows.. But, had an idea to make it better and not have to ghost.. What if you made it so that who ever moves the thread will automatically send the person who posted the thread a PM saying that this is an auto PM and that their thread has been moved to [the location it was moved to].. Kind of simple but I think it would really be better than a ghost hanging around.. I always thought it was kind of pointless moving it if there is a ghost that goes right to it's new location.. I don't know.. Just an idea..

That would be an intersting coding exercise, but I don't think that's impossible. Seems to me you should be able to do it. I don't think I'm up to it, but others here are capable, I'm sure. I can't recall ever seeing an existing mod on that.
