New Yellow Links?

I just got on ozzu today and i saw the new yellow links?

in case u don't no wat i am talking about here

I have no idea why you have yellow links. Did you install some software on your computer that is maybe turning regular text into links? Like smart text or something? I can assure you that those are not really links and I believe something on your end is causing this.

That's an XP thing. I'm trying to remember what it is, but it converts keywords to hypertext links for advertaizing purposes. I know there's a way to turn it off, and I remember that being talked about here somewhere, but can't seem to remember the details of it. I'm pretty sure UNFLUX would know. Let me see what I can dig up.

i think i no wat it is from. i installed imesh this morning and it added some search bar. [note to self] get rid of it[/note to self] i clicked it and it came up w/ options and i followed it and it came up with a search place

Mysearchbar? or MyWay? That rings a bell -- I know I've removed a ton of adware from computers and am positive I've read about that and it does what you showed but it only affects XP. I'm looking for it, but in the mean time run Spyware S&D or Adaware -- and nix whatever comes up -- or simply uninstall the new searchbar from add/remove programs.

I know it's adware -- but I can't put my finger on it.

it was. I removed it.


wat was causing the yellow links was Top Text. I found it under add and remove programs so i removed it and its fixed

it was kinda of cool. it gave you infomation about the link that is was going to send u to. but since it was spyware i just got rid of it
