I've been noticing that there have been a somewhat large accumulated amount of non-paying posts in the job offers section...which have been deleted.

I think that it would benefit people who are new to web design and such if there were a section where they could find projects to get experience -- this would also benefit people that are starting projects running on a low budget, or that are intended to be opensourced.

Only thing is watching out for spam and such...but that applies for most things :-p.

don't know...you guys' call... take a poll or something maybe?

I don't know if this idea would work. Because I doubt that a lot of people have the time to do these kind of things for no charge. I'm not sure how everyone else thinks about this idea though. Why don't you setup a poll and ask ATNO/BWM

I think it would be a good idea but the problem is that how do you keep everyone from posting in the free section.

People already can and do ask for free projects to be done in the respective forum categories. There's no need for a separate forum for it.

Ohh ok, I didnt realize this...well maybe instead of moderators simply saying not to put things in this section, they could redirect these people to other sections where these kind of posts would be appropriate?

When we can see it is appropriate we ask first (if necessary) and move them to the appropriate forums. However, some of what you see get deleted is simply spam and we don't tolerate spam much around here.
