Unless I have missed it *peers*, an option to change the number of replies showing per page?

Take a look at the bottom of my reply. Take a peek at the dropdown box for: "Display posts from previous:" Select from there.

No, that does't change the number of posts displayed per page. Maybe it just isn't an option with the BB software you use?

It would take a mod to do it, but would work on the same principle. Not sure if it's been done yet. I don't recall seeing what you suggest exactly. ("mod" meaniing modification vs. moderator in this case to avoid confusion)

It is a user option (user Control Panel option) in other board software I use.

I'll take a look around and see if there's already a mod for phpbb. Not to say it would be implemented. It's just now you have me curious.

I am not sure I can/will do something like that because of the way the link structure on ozzu will work. For instance lets say for a normal user something was on page 2 of a thread, well that page would be something like this normally:

http://www.ozzu.com/general-discussion/how-did-you-decide-your-handle-t1959-15.html

However, if we were to allow members to have less or more than 15 posts per page this entire system would get really confusing and in Search Engine eyes ozzu might have many many many more pages which would not really be true. Secondly if you were to link to a page of a thread because you wanted someone to see it, for them the URL might actually be different if their posts per page settings were different.

I think your idea is a very good one, however, at this time I just do not know how it would work with the way ozzu is setup.
