I have knotice that the website was down at 12:00pm ct (-6 gmt)

It was comming up as the database server been down.

Yes there have been issues the last week, I am working to try and resolve them.

On a related note, I've noticed that pages are no longer timing out for me. Used to be hit or miss when trying to post something for a while, but it seems back to normal now. I think a few others were having this problem as well.

Yes this problem should no longer be a factor either. I have addressed this and many other issues that ozzu has been experiencing lately.
