Ozzu Premium Membership Idea

I still think its a great idea, It would make OZZU alot closer as a community too I suppose.

I like the idea, I would defently be interested in the Premium Membership. Mainly for the article/tutorial section.

I've always thought Ozzu should have something like that. Every once in a while someone will post an article in the programming section.

Joking aside, i think this is a great idea. Surely though the annual fee is waivered for moderators though?

Of the listed proposed ideas, i'll only put my thumbs down to the "instant messenger" option. Obviously the idea is in it's early stages, but should this go ahead i'd like to have the option on whether it is enabled or not. Other than that, i'd say go for it!

It would definately be nice to have text file attachments.
There's nothing like being able to check out someones' code in the editor of your choice.

I was going to say full RSS feeds thinking the RSS feeds are truncated at X characters, but it appears the RSS feeds are already being distributed in full form. Did I miss simthing ?

I imagine there's some people who would like more than two signature links.
Maybe increased filesize for banners in signatures. Somthing like the 15K proposed for avatars.

Yes, many of the options that would be something that I could see some members wanting or not wanting would be optional.

Yes that would be included with the image attachments. Many types of different attachments will be accepted.



I believe the RSS feeds show the entire first post of the thread, I don't remember truncating anything.

Another good idea, added both of these to the list.

Personally I'm not a fan of chat within a forum. This could be an easy way out of posting to the forum, therefore reducing the possibility that the problem could be shared with other members.

It's also something that the moderators would have to moderate, which isn't possible all the time. More of a headache and would as you say UNFLUX might encourage more people to use that than the forums.
