Why can't I edit my posts if there are posts underneath me? Is that intentional on BWM's part?

When I have trouble on a different forum, I delete all the cookies in the browser & it usually clears it.

Edit: Just a test.

You mean time-limit? That was what I thought initially... just thought I'd ask.

There is a 48 hour time limit in which you can edit your own posts. After 48 hours if you need any changes you would need to ask a moderator.

Either that's new, or I must have missed something.

Also, another thing... is there a time limit until you see yourself as 'offline' after you log out? Because every time I log out and visit a forum, I see myself logged in :scratchhead:

It will show that you are online for 60 minutes since you last load a page. If you actually hit the logout link though it should be immediate.

It was implemented recently. You didn't miss anything.

May I ask, 'why you made the change?'?

We had a member come back who hasn't been around for a year replacing all 1000 posts with "123456789", or something to that effect. We have also had a few disgruntled members in the past do something similiar. This disrupts the flow of information in the threads for anybody trying to read those threads.

Oh, I see. Could you do me a favor and remove " I suppose it cost a good amount?" from this post?

Thanks
