It was a separate MOD that was available for phpbb2. Not sure if it has been revised for phpbb3 yet or not, but Bigweb clearly hasn't tried to install one yet.

Well, in any case, it looks like things get screwed up when you have open-parenthesis-eight in PHP code.

Doesn't phpBB3 comes with a default code highlighter? Anyways, my forum came already with it, but I got a stable release, not an RC...

The problem remains: if we use eight-parenthesis within a PHP block, the parser still tries to convert it to a smiley.
