My post count was almost 1400 now its gone down to 1269?

Whats the go there?

Not fussed just kinda curious.

I noticed the same with mine... went down by about 100 posts...

Quite honestly, I'm not sure why post counting is turned on in the games board. Doesn't phpBB2 have the option to turn it off for specific boards?

That would make heaps of sense to do that ... Then they won't have to 'clean up' our counts anyway ...

PHPBB2 can have that feature, But it does not come as standard you would have to add it as a MOD. Unless you use " AUTO PRUNE" But that just deletes old topics, But does not delete peoples post count.

In addition there are some forums that Bigwebmaster prunes from time to time.

Actually, if i recall correctly that forum has auto pruning. So to be a complete arse and be a bit awkward you'll find that Bigwebmaster technically doesn't prune that forum.

I know that it is auto pruning... I believe that it leaves only 60 posts and 61st post is pruned... I just that one of the forums that is being pruned...

No, it was just over a thousand ... I came from 4760 or somewhere close to there ...

Posts don't matter anyway... the quality matters although I sometimes refer to other people's post to measure how long they have being their... it's like their age and the older you are the wiser you are...

Like when I first read (still happening now :lol:) ATNO/TW's post I trusted his post over someone who replied to the same thread but had like 30 posts...
