I removed your posts from the public areas because I have some concerns with an inconsistency when it comes to the IP ranges you've been posting from in a very short timeframe.

I'm talking multiple countries which are separated by large bodies of water inconsistencies here, not simple dialup address change inconsistencies.

3 completely different address ranges from multiple countries in the course of a couple of hours is well, unusual and typically an indicator that the account is being used by multiple employees of a marketing firm or setup by a human before being turned over to a posting bot.

When people mention specific pieces of software, that suspicion factor goes up.

I went ahead and restored the original thread for now
mswindows-forum/reformatted-hdd-with-mbr-how-get-hdd-boot-again-t104157.html

Hopefully my concerns don't pan out, and I'm not going to start seeing a bunch of acronis spam after this. :)

ok, that makes me feel better. I didn't know what was going on, esp since this forum doesn't even offer the author the ability to delete a post.

sorry about the ip's... that's just me using proxies.

Ah but moderators can delete posts at whim.

That makes it sound like moderators can just go around wreaking havok. :lol:

grinch already knows this but;

Ozzu uses a "soft delete" which basically works like the recycle bin on a computer desktop. Deleted posts/threads are marked by the system for deletion and remain in a "deleted posts/topics" area out of public view for I believe 30 days before they're actually deleted. As you've seen here, posts can also be restored.

Ozzu also logs everything moderators do. Moderators can't delete, edit, move, etc anything at Ozzu then pretend they don't know anything about it.
