Private Messages Problem

Hya,

Am I doing something wrong with this new version of PHPBB3?

I answered a pm to Trev here in the forum this morning we talked in:

Then, so not to go OT we decided to discuss a subject by pm not connected with the original posters question so by doing so we do not hijack.

I recived Trev's pm just fine but I just thought mine would go automatic when I clicked 'reply' but it did'nt it still is in the outbox.

The next thing I tried to do to find some help was pm AT/NO but my pm did'nt say send..very strange behaviour

So what to do now and how to send my pms...I must be doing something wrong so any help would be appreciated and would also leave me with street cred on not appearing an ignoramous in front of Trev who must be wondering why no pm from me.

Messages in your outbox mean they haven't been read yet.

I think one has gone now I need to keep eyes on my boxes.

I didn't get your pm suzie. Make sure you didn't "save" it by accident. I have clicked save vs submit on several occasions myself. If you saved it, it will be in your drafts. To check, go to your Control Panel, and in the Top Right Navigation look at Overview Category> Manage Drafts. If it's in your drafts click the "Load Draft" option and then submit it.

I don't get it. I sent an hello to Nucleo but his also is sitting in the outbox, yours could not be sent because there was no send but I am mindful of your advice.

It still is waiting to be sent to Nucleo,

I even edited and said 'submit' then I got a board message 'Your message has been sent' so I go to check the outbox and its still in there.

I refreshed but its there yet.

Maybe there is a wait time for it to be posted.

It will remain in your outbox until the person you sent the message to reads it.

Glad you said that not me - then again, maybe it's only Brits who find double meanings in everything.

Got there eventually, but don't have time to logon etc. in a morning....barely got time to get out of bed most mornings. As you might guess, I'm not a morning person.
