proposition: login field on the top of the page

helllo admin and users!

i've got a little proposition for ozzu.com, always. when i want to login i've to scroll down (kay i can use the [end], but....), i think it would be better to have the login field on the top of the page .

You can already do this.

I imagine you will be online reading this, at the top it has all the options like "Profile", "Search", "FAQ", PM's". When you are logged off it has got the option "Logon" which if you click allows you to log on. Granted, you are probably better pressing "end" and going to the bottom like you are.

You can also, if you want, click the box that allows you to automatically sign on every time you visit the site.

or you could just stay loged in and only do it once
it is just that simple

Or you can hit the End key on your keyboard and your good to go

k, but i am laisy... and the end key is so far away

I seriously doubt anyone is going to change the layout for somebody who cannot be bothered to press a button on the screen.

As far as i am aware, nobody else has this problem.

It is kinda handy to have it at the top, but as UNFLUX pointed out in another suggestion thread, this board is so heavily modded already that it becomes difficult to write back in all the changes everytime there is an upgrade that is necessary.

As an additional note phpBB3.0 is in prelease stages and is scheduled for a beta release soon. It's already being tested by the staf to see what kind of potential it has for us.

At this point I don't expect to see too many additional mods added anytime in the near future.

You'll note that our forum phpBB version shows 2.0.8 and not 2.0.11, although we have all the critical patches necessary in place, Bigwebmaster chose not to do a full upgrade to 2.0.11 because of this very reason.
