anyone watch the election on CNN.com?? they had a refresh every 5 minutes or so. well i dont reply in many topics here because i usually make a fool of myself. the ones i do reply to are usually popular. i watch the last post category to see if anyone has posted in that section then i check to see what they said. i have to hit the refresh button every couple of minutes to see if anyone replied to my question or if i actually helped someone. i know this is kinda nit-picking, but the simple small things help some.
to solve this maybe have a five minute server push or client pull?? or would that be too much traffic??
i mean i can keep hitting the refresh button. i have no problem with that.

Some browsers have an auto refresh feature.
I dont know what browser you use, but in SlimBrowser you can click > view > Auto refresh > and set a time period.

why dont you just allow email reply so if someone replies to that topic, you get an email which takes you right to that spot ;)

an auto refresh would never work for us because of the enormous load it would take to run a service like that. OZZU is just way too big for something like that.

Hint: F5 is a wonder key ;)

The primary consideration here is bandwidth. It simply wouldn't work here because of the size as UNFLUX pointed out. Nothing wrong with suggestions though. Keep them coming.
