"Resolved" button

Post June 7th, 2007, 5:01 am

Wouldn't it be helpful if we add a "resolved" button to each thread that the user who started the thread can mark when the problem\question is resolved ... I think that would make it easier when a user is looking for a solution and then he\she can see if the thread has been resolved or not ... So then the heading of the thread would just change to something like
    Resolved: CSS issue in IE7

That is a good idea. I will keep it in mind for the future possibly.

It would be cool to see a counter in the bottom of the index for each time that Resolved button is used too. :D

Lol. But can't a person who started the page change the title? Like lets say...

    CSS issue in IE7 *SOLVED*

But thats a good idea... if the post-starter takes his/her time to do that.

yeah same here, but many people don't know things like this are possible (editing posts), but if the button is available, they might just use it ...
