Separate? Possible?

Would it be possible to further expand the programming/scripting/coding forum into sub-categories. IMHO it's way too general. I love programming, but I hate coming in here and reading about JavaScript this, JavaScript that.

Though I'm a PHP junkie, it'd be good to have a php/cgi/jsp section and keep JavaScript in it's own section (maybe scripting).

Just an idea. Otherwise, I'll end up going to other sites for PHP talk and this site whenever I feel like reviewing websites.

I think separating in server-side (or stand alone) and client-side programming would be nice too.

Works for me. They're two whole different worlds.

I was a bit surprised when I joined the forum this wasnt already so

I quite like the idea of that... Server-side and Client-side...

Would CERTAINLY make life much easier for the newer users who don't understand the difference between all the various languages for both.

I wouldn't be a big fan of seporating it any more than that though.

BTW, I think this might have been better suited for the comments/suggestions thread though my opinion would have been different if there was a pool involved.
