Special characeters and their entity references.

How do you post these things? The forum just converts them straight into the character.
Before the new theme it was possible using the "code" option.

For example,
Code: [ Select ]
 



The thing in the code box is a "space" created with & #160; (without the gap). It's often uselful to able to post these things.
