I have made a few changes with indeces in the MySQL database that ozzu.com uses and I am hoping this will speed up the board. Lately many of you have probably noticed this board lagging at times, and being very slow.

Anyway please let me know if things seem faster over the next couple of days. If the board is still laggy please report that here too.

Seems very fast now, although it was horribly slow at about 4PM EST this afternoon. Took almost 3 minutes for one post to take (broadband).

Yeah I made the changes after that. So that was before the changes still. Keep me posted.

i am on a 14 k modem and it did get faster
and yes i said 14 k

Did I just see 14K? Man, cowkiller...I don't know how you do it. I remember multitudes of frustrations with 33.6K

oh ya i love 14k i can go eat have a nap and go for a run wile i wate for the page to load lol

the computer i have not dont help things 166 64 meg ram 2 g hard drive

I have a 166 on cable it actually works great! I use it to test IE5, but that's
about the only use I get out of it. :roll:

I did notice the change of speed in ozzu forum, is great better than before.

Lately I've noticed a speed up in this forum..... :D Before It would hang and even come up with page not found... And I'm on Cable! But I do believe its a result of the activity that's going on.... I almost always see at least 100 or more guests here, seems like there are alot of outsiders that come and go..... I dont know if this has been mentioned before but maybe locking some of the topic sections up (not all of them) so that (in a good way) it would force people to join the forum....

I dont know just seen it done on other forums....
