i have noticed that the tags like for a quote, img, url and so on are only placed at the end of the message. like if i look back at what i typed and decided i want a smiley at a certain place it will only put it in at the bottom, no matter where my courser is. is that fixable or is there something im missing??

Highlight what you want within the tags and then click the bbCode button you need and it will automatically place both the beginning and end tag around the highlighted section instead of automatically putting it at the end. You can also type the bbCode tags manually as well.

i have been doing it manually. i didnt know that if you highlighted it, it would work.

well i didnt know that you could highlight what you wanted to be inside the tags

Most people don't know that. It's not something that's really noted in the FAQ.
