Today when I came across Sporks tutorials, I thought, "Why don't our profiles list all of the tutorials we've written ?".

Ok, well I know why they don't, but figured I'd plop this thought in here for later. :D

That would be a lot nicer, especially since I just realized that I can't unlock and edit a topic once I've locked it.

Side note: would a mod like to help me out and unlock that topic for me?

Just had an idea how this could easily be implemented.

In profiles there's the "Find all posts by person" link.

Well if you try this search you'll see it lists all of the tutorials I've written. (I missed the native search sooo bad while it was gone)

What about a "Find persons tutorials" link right under it ?

That example search just needs to have the username changed to apply to anyone else. For instance, here's spork.

I don't see the tutorial categories changing often enough where hardcoding the forum_id list into the code would be much of a pain to update when new sections are added.

Should work now, it will only display if you are logged into ozzu though since the search feature will not work for members not logged in.

I can see joebert's in his profile, but nothing shows up in mine for me, only the "View all posts" link.

That's interesting. I cannot see the link for the tutorials on my profile either.

It's as if members can only see other peoples and not theres. Not handy if you ever want to make reference to them to anyone in the future.
