One other question, did you spend over 3600 seconds (1 hour) writing the post? A posting session I believe will expire after that amount of time. You shouldn't have to re-login though.

I spent, a little more than that and it logged me out, I didn't check anything though at log-in. That may have caused me to log off...

I'll just re-write the tutorial tomorrow or sometimes later. I feel lazy out of frustration to start on it now and it's kind of late now...

Why don't you just copy and paste the general outline of the tutorial to word, and then just write it in word and then transfer it to a post?

I usually do that... I just have forgotten since I haven't posted here for awhile. I'll do that. That's what Bigweb has suggested as well so it's popular around here :) Thanks anyways.

Just a heads up, the forum rules don't show up in the C++ subforum.

Remember, with phpbb3 you can save your drafts while you work at your leisure. Your session won't time out then. You can find your drafts in your control panel. This could let you have several going at once and edit them or add to them when you have time, and post them when they are finished.

Also an ASP.Net sub forum would be cool, I'm planning a few of those ... If you don't mind that ofcourse ...

With so many different subforums being added for tutorials, the actual programming topics are being moved further and further down the page... I'm beginning to wonder if a general "Tutorials" subforum with the independent language subforums would be a better idea...

That does sound good ... but if those become more full it might become messy ...

Actually all that would be necessary would be for the "Tutorials" Subforum to be collapsed. Then you would not see the child subforums until you entered the Tutorial subforum. If I recall correctly, a description could be written for the Tutorial subforum that could list the child forums inside.

Exactly. It's not too bad as it is right now, but when people start adding things for ASP, Ruby, ColdFusion, Lisp, C#, D, Java... well, you get the point.
