Is it possible to upload an image from an external link? i notice you have the option of adding the link to the profile so it will display that image but when i click submit you get this error...

I wasnt sure if this was an unknown error or whether it is just a temporary error to hint that that option might be unavailable?

I just tried it and it worked fine. Try again and see if you still get the same problem.

Yeah, same problem again. Its really not that important.

No real hurry to fix the problem, but at least you know its there bugging a scotsman several thousand miles away from you :lol:

Yeah but if I am not able to duplicate it there is nothing I can do because from my perspective everything is working fine. What URL are you using in the form? Maybe I can try that to see if I can duplicate it then.

I dont know what was wrong. It must have just been the graphic i was trying.

I just did a test graphic i took from my site (the smile graphic currently being used) and it seems to have worked without a problem.

Its not the graphic i was wanting, although this is not too important.

I apologise for bringing up an error that was probably a one off.

It could have been a file with the wrong extension. For example, if you take a JPEG and give it a GIF extension, your browser will open it just fine, but any kind modification to the file will damage it as it is trying to be written in the wrong format. Open it up in a hex editor and check the header.
