Views

If this could be done it would be cool. i think it should be setup where you can click to see who has viewed the topic. if you go into the topic you can see who posted but there is no way to see who viewed the topic. you should add that to the site

It would not be practical WoRd Of WiSdOm.

Currently OZZU has over 8,000 members. We are currently averaging 21 new topics per day and there are currently over 14,000 topics. The only thing that could be tracked is members views because there is no way to identify guests. In order to track member views those would need to be recorded in the database. Currently the database is 126MB and growing. Adding view statistics would dramatically increase that size and detract from the efficiency of the board.

That is why we no longer use the old system of read tracking. It was inflating the database and causing some serious problems with page loading here because all members read history was being recorded.

This just simply would hurt OZZU's overall performance and not help anything at all.
