Can't you make a rule that in a site check no .tk adress or any other redirect adrs are alowed?
redirect makes things slower.. and the servers from .tk are not that good, they are a lot offline. and for a site check.. there is no need for it.

It's just a sugestion.. :)

i dont think that that is a good idea. Some people put there sites on a free host untill the site is finished and they have received feedback.

I would do the same but i am lucky that i have got aol webspace.

I would just suggest that if you see a link in the websites review section with an extension of .tk then dont visit

lol I was gonna say that too! You know where the links are going, if you don't like it don't go :D

I assume some of the ones you are talking about are in the reviews section. Some of these guys are quite young and are just learning. If they cannot justify the cost of paying for a domain and hosting, then why shouldn't they go for the free ones?

I don't think that any sites should be blocked unless it is due to the actual content of the site being unsuitable. Otherwise we are discouraging people from posting here, and stopping them from getting feedback that they need.

Many of the people who would be affected by this are the people we should be enouraging the most.

sry for this late reply :(

you are totally right. but....
why can't we say that they have to post there link. and the link where it's linked to?
because what I said in my other post here, .tk and other services are a lot down.. and giving them a feedback when we can't get on there site... is a little difficult. :)

just a thought

If you see a site review posted with a .tk extension,
you have the choice not to click it or to review it. This would
limit our visitors in a way we don't necessarily want.

Thanks for the suggestion though. :)
