Why do links turn red on hover (and stay that way)?!

It happens sometimes in Firefox. By the time you have read this reply i am sure you will find that its back to normal. Usually by refreshing the screen it tends to be ok afterwards.

Yeah, the fader script is broken on Opera. It's a known issue (been reported before).

i know it may not work, but why don't you have an opera detection part in the script, where it'll just be the normal mouseover changing instead of the fading?

Probably because its not that big of a deal and BWM doesnt have the time. Just a guess though.

Lets be honest here, is it affecting the overall running of the site? are you not managing to see certain posts as a result of this doing what it does?

If the answer was no to both of those questions then i'm pretty sure thats what BWM's answer will be to creating a mod to fix such a small unimportant effect that some people get. Believe it or not but IE is still the most commonly used browser on the go at the moment and i dont believe people are having problems using IE on this site.
