Word Censor

One of the gold membership add-ons is that I should be able to turn the word censor off and on at will, no I have tested this here ... But it seems to not work even though I have disabled it ... What is the reason for this?
Let's leave all our *plum* where it is and go live in the jungle ...

I just confirmed you are correct. It doesn't work for me either.

I wonder if the word censor is activated at post time, thus submitting the pre-censored words or if it works only while reading the data from the database ?

No. It's a built in function of phpbb3
The board setting by default is to disable all user's ability to turn off the word filter.
All Bigweb has to do is allow it for the Premium member group/s. That's not a setting I have access to to check, but I'm certain that's all that's needed. I just tested it at my board.

more like the idea being you can read posts without the censor *lol

RT -- Bigweb figured out that it's a bug in the version of phpbb3 installed here, which was fixed in the current version. Once he upgrades this will be resolved.

Might take a bit of time to upgrade though, so be patient. It's on his todo list.

It's funny because there are ways and means in which moderators can see what the censored word is without this feature being available.
