Can't remember posting on this site, can only comment on the look of the site. I am very turned off by the dark backround and the evil looking dragon. (reminds me of some kind of hackers hangout). Everything else looks great :)

Hi,

I would want the posted messages to be included in the mail notification I receive in my mailbox. Something like the Macromedia Forums.

I always save those mails. Helps me keep a track of the posts.

:)

more regular emails so that 'out of site, out of mind' doesn't happen, thats why I don't visit more often

i also don't like the color scheme, this color is associated with teenager non-work sites to me

best and thx

Gah.. I haven't used this forum for a long time. I read some of my old posts and I feel like such a newb.

I guess if I could change ONE thing it would be the colour scheme, but that's all down to tastes and what skins you happen to have installed.

I might as well have written that post myself.

I haven't been around in a long time, and even then I only participated a little. I definitely think the color scheme, while very well done, is a little - well - black. I work next to my boss and even though this is a perfectly reputable forum, I'd rather him not see me at a shady, black website - it sparks the curiousity bug if you know what I mean.

Not that I could do better.

Make links (in posts) more visible. Add a blue tinge to the link color perhaps. :)

I think that you should add codes/scripts forum.

I was reading some of the posts and they've pretty much summed it up so far. I agree with the post about tutorials and such.

I do know some programming (html/xhtml/css/javascript), but I'm more of an art lover. Most of the topics here, I just have no idea what to say because they're about a program that I don't know about. Maybe turn the forum into a web development/digital art forum?

Well, I guess I'll throw my two cents in, now. I haven't seen this one: how about articles describing the weaknesses of various coding languages. For instance, someone could write about the pitfalls of using certain languages that are easy for hackers to exploit, how to write code in these languages to minimize exploitation, how to recover your site after being exploited, etcetera. I've never been hacked, but I don't use scripts, either. I've read a lot on the web (when I was blogging with PHP) about this patch, or that workaround; could we get someone to give us a definite answer to problems like this?

PS: Impel GD's idea was fantastic!

Definately more about bringing in the visitors to your site!

It's one of the probably least talked subjects but the most important one for revenues :O

and i don't talk just about search engines, it's the basics, but about blogs, affiliating, link directories, paid advertising(btw, if any one need any banner impressions(basic targeting, language & rate), popunders/redirect domain traffic(targeted & untargeted) just contact me for rates;) ).

I see way too little about it anywhere in the web, is it a tabu or what? Everyone talks only about search engines, while search engines are very important, there is plenty of other ways around too acquire traffic (in MMOG industry one worthy is MMOG directories, Adult industry TGP index sites).
