you should add a new section

you should add a section where if someone is having trouble with a virus problem or they are having trouble with there computer they can ask for help about it...

It's a pretty good idea. Only thing is, there really isn't enough demand
on that topic to justify a whole new section for it. I would just say to
post your problems and question in the either the Windows or the
Unix/Linux sections, depending on what OS you are running.

Also, put your suggestions in the "Suggestions" section next time.

If we find alot of virus related posts down the road we may reconsider, but for the time I think it bests fits in one of the Operating System forums. Thanks for the suggestion though

Tech tips on forum is bad idea.. people start doing anoying questions like, where my mouse goes when i disconected.. or my desktop doesn work on the park like my friends lap top... or the tipic one.. my coffe cup doesn't work anymore..

I submitted this one:

Having moved into a new building,
we received a call from an Internal user,
requesting a can opener.

A can opener? I asked.
yes a can opener the User repeated.

Sorry we don't have any can openers here.

Can you go and check just to be sure,
someone told me to try the servery.

Ma'm, we are Computer Operations, this is the support
line, we have a server room, if you are looking,
for a can opener we do not have such, perhaps
check with the cafeteria.

Turns out the User had been asking co-workers,
if anyone had a can opener so she could open her
lunch, someone suggested for her to check the servery.

Our building has a servery (kitchen) on each floor,
she decided to call the common building support line,
asking for us to check for a can opener.

we get all sort of calls ... this one was the best yet!

Later we learned this User ended up on long-term
disability, appearently had some 'issues'.

She was also observed one day trying to scan into
the building but her badge no longer worked.

gotta wonder ...
