adding pictures to host

running the mandriva distro. after a day of photography, ive found that i cant upload my pictures to myspace or photobucket. im guessing this is a common problem, but i couldnt figure out how to fix it. theyre all in jpg. and im certain the sites now adays automaticallly crop pictures.
any help?

What are you using to upload the pictures? What is the error message?
