Hey all

I run Ubuntu on my laptop and I want, sorry, Need to be able to create swfs for websites.

Anyone know of a Linux based Flash Creater

Or a way I can run adobe Flash on my laptop)

Have you tried running it with Wine?

Look into Flex2.

Correction: Look into Flex 3. (If you're doing RIA development, that is.)

Does Flex3 work on Linux ?
I know 2 does, I was using it a month or three ago.

Yep, the SDK is available for all platforms and the apps will (obviously) run in any browser with the latest version of the Flash player.

Flex 3 lets you build AIR apps, which are just plain sweet.

I forgot how overwhelming the Flex SDK can be.
Flash via Wine I think is definately worth looking into if you want any sort of GUI.

Flash CS3 runs in wine.

at least i'm pretty sure thats the version i installed.. 99.99% >.<
