HI everyone,

I installed AMSN on my redhat 8.0.
I tried to execute it by double clicking the icon and even manually by using xterm but nothing happens.
Does anyone know what is missing here?

How exactly did you install it? I mean, did you run a ./configure then a make, make install? Did you download a binary package? RPM?

Did you check your system error logs?

Cheers.

you need tcl/tk to run amsn
although i dont use RH8, i'm sure u'll find tcl/tk rpms.
after installing it, cd to the amsn folder and do a
./amsn
or "wish amsn"

that should do it.
