Hello,

I need a antivirus software of Suse Linux 9.1 Pro. I know that Linux cannot get viruses, BUT the windows machines behind the proxy server can. So I was wondering if there were any good antivirus software for suse that can stop the virus before it even gets to the windows machine? Thanks,

Justin

Actually, there *are* Linux viruses;

I imagine what you are looking for is a gateway virus protection device, such as an application to scan incoming mail for viruses prior to placement on the MTA or at least scanned and quarantined prior to download.

Symantec makes one, as I am sure many others do.

I would start there. Keep in mind they are protocol specific, such as mail filtering, etc. et al.

Cheers.
