Hi guys,

My question is does anyone know where (which file exactly) can i edit in an Iopener which is currently using m4i operating system to make it load 'rdesktop' as soon as it boots up.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, rdesktop is the linux remote desktop sharing (protocol) is it not? Stands to reason that instead of running the hardwired OS on the iopener, you would need to hack it, install a drive, load linux then you should be good to go. (Course, with a 200MHz processor, it won't exactly be speedy. :)

There should be quite a few "Hack your iopener" websites out there.

I would google for them to start with.

Cheers.

Sorry for the late reply.
I was experimenting with the Iopener this past few days and i just had to edit the startup file which is /tmp/config/X11/XFinit to make it start the program i want on startup.
By the ways i am already using m4i distro on the Iopener.
