My shared server is up and running, i can surf to it via a proxy site, plus my server support people have confirmed that nothing is wrong with it but i cannot surf to it, get email from it or ftp into any of my domains hosted on my account

My isp is talk talk
my server host is UH-hosting.co.uk

the server i cant access is 213.230.203.210 (web4.000025.net)
one of my domains on this server is http://www.solve-nt.co.uk

I have done a tracert to this location and it is below

Tracing route to solve-nt.co.uk [213.230.203.210]

over a maximum of 15 hops:

Anyone able to tell me what to do about getting this sorted? any idea what the problem is?

cheers for taking the time to read this far

It's a shared hosting server,

is there anyway of determining what other sites are also hosted on that shared server, perhaps so i can determine whether someone elses site has triggered a ban or something?

you could look on google for the ip address and hope you get search results from dns logs or something

but how could someone else do something with your ip?

cause its your ip thats the problem, not the server itself

it's a reseller account on a shared server - i host approx 25 domains in my account alone, and there are obviously others who have multiple domains in the same shared server....my principal domain is solve-nt.co.uk but all my domains share the same ip address as far as i know so i wondered if my isp had blocked it because of the activity of someone else sharing the same server

this only started happening yesterday, i have hosted with this hoster for two years now...and moving 25 domains is not something i would do lightly
something changed yesterday and i'd like to try and find out what...

well for sure one of the ip's involved got blocked either on the hoster or isp side

why don't you just change the host? there are lots of them to choose from and moving the whole thing isn't that complicated... should only take a couple hours

are you behind a router? if so, try plugging the line for the internet directly in to your computer if at all possible.
what OS is your computer running?
what antivirus or firewall software do you have on your computer?
like auctionadvertising said, can you get to it from another computer?

probably theres something on the way to his server thats blocking it. a firewall or something.

i dont think he's done something himself, he would have thought to undo it

*plum* isp's. if this would happen to me i'd change the isp/datacenter the same day
