BIND 9 Question

I'm running Gentoo and i have bind9 setup on the machine, but when i typed "bind" it just goes to next line, doesnt output any errors to /var/log/messages but it doesnt run either (i check using ps wax) u can take a look a my named.conf http://67.164.162.31/named.conf <--- there i believe its all correct, any help woudl be great.

When you install bind the process is normally called named.

its normally in /usr/sbin/named
