I am installing gt4.0.0 . I run the follwong script (to obtain certificates ):

[globus@localhost ~]$ $GLOBUS_LOCATION/setup/globus/setup-simple-ca

and towards the end it shows this error :

ERROR: could not run build command: /home/globus/globus-4.0.0/sbin/gpt-build -force /home/globus/.globus/simpleCA//globus_simple_ca_c7881362_setup-0.18.tar.gz

Can anybody please interpret this error for me? I mean what does this "could not run build command" exactly mean?
Does this mean im in a wrong directory?
An if someone could tell me how to rectify this error , then it would be wonderful .

well, generally.. i'd say it means that uh... the build command couldn't run. so i'd have to say my interpretation would be.. the version that you have has a bug. and that bug is.. when it tries to run the build command, it fails :[

ANYWAYS don is right.
try the newer version. the same error you're getting was reported via bugzilla http://bugzilla.globus.org/globus/show_bug.cgi?id=3567 and the status states its been fixed/resolved so the newer version should fix your problems.
