Hi All
I have a problem. None of the FTP clients I have on my system will connect to my host's FTP server. A connection appears to be established but when I actually try to do anything I get an error.

With NCFTP it is
Quote:
Data connection timed out
Failing back to PORT instead of PASV mode
List Failed.

I have no problems connecting to this server when I reboot into windows and use FileZilla.

By the way, the server runs PureFTPD.

Any ideas?

Try turning on (or off) passive mode.
